Usage
TSI Supercool 46 SAE oil is ideal for routine maintenance of vehicle air‑conditioning systems, including seasonal recharging, leak repair, and component replacement. Apply the oil directly into the compressor inlet or add it to the refrigerant charge according to the manufacturer’s service guidelines. Its 8 oz volume is sufficient for a full system service on most passenger cars, while larger vehicles may require additional product.
The oil performs well in a variety of climates, from hot summer environments where the AC system works continuously, to cooler regions where the system cycles less frequently. Its stable viscosity ensures consistent lubrication regardless of temperature fluctuations, reducing the risk of compressor seizure or seal degradation. Technicians appreciate the clear labeling and precise dosage markings on the bottle, which simplify accurate measurement and minimize waste.

FAQ
Can I use this oil with newer refrigerants such as R‑1234yf?
TSI Supercool 46 SAE oil is compatible with most conventional refrigerants like R‑134a. For newer low‑global‑warming‑potential refrigerants such as R‑1234yf, it is recommended to verify compatibility with the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications or consult a qualified technician before use.
How often should I replace the air‑conditioning oil?
Typically, the oil does not need to be replaced unless the AC system is opened for major service, a compressor is replaced, or a significant leak is repaired. In routine maintenance, adding a small amount of fresh oil during refrigerant recharge is sufficient to maintain proper lubrication.
Is the 8 oz bottle enough for a full system service on a midsize sedan?
For most midsize sedans, the 8 oz bottle provides enough oil to fully charge the system, including the compressor, condenser, and evaporator. Larger vehicles or those with multiple compressors may require additional oil, which can be purchased separately.
What safety precautions should I observe when handling this oil?
Although the oil is non‑flammable, it is advisable to wear gloves and eye protection to avoid skin and eye contact. Work in a well‑ventilated area and store the product away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Does this oil come with a warranty?
Yes, TSI Supercool offers a limited warranty that covers manufacturing defects for a period of one year from the date of purchase. Customers can contact the support team with proof of purchase to initiate a warranty claim.
